CHEVY CONVERSION VAN                                back to home page

Here's the empty van with the roof metal cut off and ready for the high-top to be installed. The high-top is set in place just before being sealed and bolted down. You can see the reddish colored raw fiberglass underside. This is the bay window located just behind the driver seat. The plywood wall panel is getting fitted-up  before being covered with fabric.

Here, Gary is finishing up the window's inside trim. All the wall's nooks and crannies have been stuffed with insulation. The ceiling has been covered in fabric, and the wires for the lighting have been dropped, but there's much more left to do up there. Ahhh. That's more like it. The lights are installed, the storage compartment is finished and the doors are mounted.

This is the rear of the van after the seating has been installed. The three round objects above the rear doors are the vents for the rear A/C & heat unit. The curtains are functional. We installed a removable curtain behind the 2nd row seats because the customer wanted the option of adding an air mattress and getting a little privacy. Clean and neat on the outside, well crafted and sharp on the inside. That's how we build them for you.
