CAMPER VAN                                                 back to home page

We were not stingy with the insulation, especially on a camping van. At this point the high top is installed and upholstered, and the windows are installed. The upper storage compartment is ready for the doors to be hung. The finished side wall is shown with the curtains installed. The square black panel below the high-top window is the battery condition gauge. This device shows the charge status of the main vehicle battery as well as the auxiliary battery. The passenger side wall is being installed, but the door panels have yet to be made. Another storage area is seen in the upper front of the van.

The doors look much better now with the panels made and installed. This customer wanted a map pocket on each door. The interior is finished at this stage and the result gives an open airy feeling due to all the windows. There's lots of room now, and the storage areas should keep the clutter in it's place.

The van has a clean and easy look that works, and a small splash of color takes away the "utility" look. All those screened windows will be most welcome during summer camping trips.
