Cyclevan reccomends protecting all the vulnerable surfaces in and around the bed area of your truck. Standard drop-in bedliners are still the most economical way to protect the cargo surface.(Even though we don't do spray-on bedliners, we like them also, but they are about twice the cost). We like to use an under-the-rail bedliner with additional "bed caps" that protect the siderails. These bed caps come in black plastic, aluminum diamond tread, and polished stainless steel. You can dress it up further by adding tubular rails too.
You've probably seen these bed extenders on the road. Did you know that you can increase your cargo capacity by almost a foot-and-a-half? Plus, you can pop it right off when necessary.

Here's the BedRug, a padded , carpet bedliner. This easy-on-the-knees product is made of a durable all weather synthetic material that the maker says can be left out in the elements... I don't know about that, but it's neat when used under a bed cover of any type. Plus, it feels like lying on your plush living-room carpet!
